Goals
The Social Development Office was established with the objective of integrating different service delivery mechanisms to ensure effectiveness and efficiency. Its main purposes are to provide services in a cost-effective manner through a one-door system, enabling service recipients to access various social sector services in one place. By delivering services under this system, different services become complementary, thereby enhancing overall impact. It also aims to improve the efficiency of employees by allowing them to practice within their subject areas and take responsibility for inter-departmental consultations. The presence of staff from diverse fields in one location helps to reduce shortages, while the effective use of means and resources ensures faster implementation of work. Furthermore, the office seeks to bring services closer to beneficiaries, particularly in areas related to women, children, Dalits, senior citizens, persons with disabilities, as well as in physical infrastructure development for schools and sports.
