Brief Introduction
Nepal is a country with multi-ethnic and multi-lingual characteristics.
According to the Constitution of Nepal, 2072 (2015), the country currently has seven provinces and 753 local levels. Among the seven provinces, Karnali Province is relatively underdeveloped but holds various possibilities for development.
In order to make it easier to carry out works related to education, women, children, Dalits, and senior citizens across the ten districts of this province and to ensure effective and efficient service delivery, the Government of Karnali Province, through its decision on 2076 Bhadra 6 (August/September 2019), formally established the Social Development Office, Dolpa, on 2076 Kartik 15 (October/November 2019).
